This has been covered like 2 million times at least! (not to be a dick or anything)... but try searching "sts turbo" or "remote mount turbo"...
BTW the air filter doesn't suck up water and it's not designed to circumvent smog laws either...

Yeah... all of the STS kits are smog legal.. which is pretty good for a turbo kit that is capable of 7-9 psi...
It was designed for a number of reasons, one of them is because there is not enough room in the engine bay of many domestics for a large turbo... so, you put it where the muffler used to be and you're in business...
