how many lbs of boost on an ls
hello all im baaaaack..lol. i just bought a 92 civic hatch with an ls swap..dark blue with ls wheels..lowered on bilisten shocks with eibach springs..(prokit) clean..no bad scratches or dents..48,000 exact miles on the ls..i got him down to 3800.. now im looking at getting the inlinepro t3t4 kit.. if i ported and polished the head got new rodds and added a 3mm head gasket with arp head bolts..dropping my c.r. to (ballpark) 8.4 - 8.7 cr?
how many lbs of boost can one run?.. im guessing 14 -16 tops?
should i just hold out and do pistons too? its really not in the budget right now
i got the new rodds and ported head when i got the car..spare parts..cam gears too!
the kit comes with everything.. i like their cast manifolds.. not to mention their cars
run well.. anyone from the dc metro area knows that their cars run well.. you have to give props to street legal 9 second cars..they do know their ****.
give me some ideas and info.. this is my last car build.. my ef went down in flames
so at 28 its all about last chances..
thanx

don't go by psi, go by horsepower, people have gone up to 500hp on stock sleeves. With that low compression you are gonna have to push more lbs of boost to reach your goal then lets say someone with 9.2:1 comp.
