Turbo suggestions
B18C1 Block
9.5 Wiseco
Eagle Rods
CNC Werx CSS
ITR Head
Supertech internals
CTR cams
Goals are between 450 - 500 WHP
I currently have a Precision 6262 (t3, .82 ar on the hot side). I am thinking now that that turbo is overkill for my goals.
What I am looking for is a recommendation for a turbo that I can reach my WHP goals, while maintaining a streetable torque curve and not having a need to run 20+ psi.
Hopefully the more experience members like shodan can chime in.
Thanks.

get the gt3076r that turbo should be in your range with good spool too and if you can spend more the new tr3030r from the shodan is what i get.

Re: Turbo suggestions
A 6262 is totally overkill and useless for your build
Something like a GT30R would be perfect for your goals and will be much more responsive and produce decent midrange torque and power over the 6262

Re: Turbo suggestions
Its not Useless its just a tad big for his goals, dropping down to a .63 housing on that turbo will wake it up a bit and they do spool pretty well. My 6266 spools just fine with a .63 housing. just stepped up to a .82 cause the car is mainly track only now and i wanted the extra HP up top. If you stick with the 6262 ill trade you housings. Mine just came back from precision and is all cleaned up like new even though it only had 10 miles on it to begin with

Re: Turbo suggestions
Considering the turbo will support damn near twice his power level... yea it's a little pointless
