Default whats a good turbo for high horsepower?

im building a high horsepower turbo motor. i've got an AEBS sleeved and oringed b18c block. pauter rods with cp pistons 84mm. gsr head pNp by DH racing with itr cams. looking to run aem ems with t1 cam trigger. whats a good turbo to make great power with this set up? im looking at the garrett gt4202 but seems alot of people are going with the 4294. any other turbo that im missing out on? im going to run a class similar to sfwd but not as strict. its called T4 street trim turbo cars.

pt67 or gt40 the 42 is over kill....not like 800 is easy to tame in a car weighing > 2400#'s. id recommend a lower a/r for whatever turbo you decide...like > .85

3582R

great turbo, great spool, and can make some pretty high numbers...
depends on your idea of "high" numbers.

the 3582 is a silly turbo and should not be over looked either. we need more information so we can make a better assessment as to what will fit your needs. will this car be dedicated track ***** or would you enjoy driving it on teh street. another reason i like the 3582....maybe even the 3563 it will built power much more linear than all other turbos mentioned thus far. it also will fit the bill for a fast car...and be much more streetable.

What do you consider "High horsepower". For me anything over 500 whp is high.

S372 is much cheaper than the Garrett turbos you are looking at and will make just as much if not more power.

well like i said before. this is a track only. will get as much power i can. looking at 650+ though. the field im going to run have alot of high 10 sec cars and high 9's once in a while. i can't say i want to be that fast but i want to be somewhere i can be competitive. okay thanks for all your inputs. im looking to go with the borg warner s372. will that be the right turbo of my choice?
