im tryin to find a turbo that spools up around 4 grand i have a garret 52 trim or somethin lyin around. can anyone point me in the right direction. right now im spoolin around 5 grand or so and i think vtec kicks in around there. i know i wanna try to spool before vtec though. but jus feel me in on some suggestions.

 

Well, you'll first need to elaborate on your setup.

-Engine (bore and stroke unless stock)
-Manifold
-Exhaust diameter
-Intercooler piping size

Without knowing ANY of that, its impossible to give you any help.

 

down pipe i believe is three inchs, log manifold, intercooler piping is i wanna say is 3 also, and engine is stock "for now"

 

...and what engine would that be? LS, GSR, B16A, etc....

Also, having a power goal in mind would be nice. There are literally hundreds of turbos that will spool at or before your desired range, but they differ in the amount of power they are able to support.

 

B Series yea right. even though ive spent enough to do a swap its only a D16y8.

right now im jus lookin to get in the 200Hp range and thats my right now goal. after i build the bottom end itll be way more. i know a little about turbos but im not too good with the specs and all. like if you were to ask me if its gt25 or gt28 turbo i wouldnt be able to tell you. im guessin thats just the brand right.
