Re: DIY Turbo help.. (integra95gsr)
This is an interesting question since usually it's pretty hard to "buy" a DP and IC piping. The reason is that each mainifold and turbo are different on every car and it would be impossible for a manufacturer to stock every kind of compination unless a.) they sell you an entire kit or b.) like full-race or neukin manifold they custom make DP's since you will tell the the flang type and turbo when you order a DP. IC piping is kinda the same way although you can find a set of IC piping you will still need to cutting/ adding more pipe depend on the turbo placement and Intercooler used.
I pieced my own kit together as well and ran into the same problem you did. I read a round a little and decided to make them myself. I have no welding skills nor have done anything like this. But everything was very easy in the end. All I did was buy 2 3" Ubends (DP) and 4 2.5" ubends (IC piping). Then I mocked the turbo to it's spot and marked where I should cut. I then cut away with a sawzall and had all the pieces welded by a local muffler shop. I have never had a problem with my DP or IC piping up to now. Never even blown off a pipe!
Anyway here are the pipes:
Intercooler pipes after being cut:
After the muffler shop welded it all for $35 and it took like 40 minutes:
Another pic of the DP:
GL with whatever you decide

(what setup are you running, and do you think running without a cat is better?) [sorry im new to this]

intercooler piping is easy, just buy about 4-5 U bends and have at it with a chop saw. Also with a DP take it to a local shop and have them fab up one.
