Default turbo set up help?

i plan on boosting hopefully in the next couple months and im in search for a turbo kit that will be good for daily driving and decent street power. im aiming for about 200 - 220 at the whp? Anyone know if the greddy 18g would provide that kind of power wid tuning? or should i go and save the extra money and go wid a revhard or drag kit?

The greddy should be able to make the hp that you're looking for. Since your're in IL. You'll have to worry about emissions. But it should work.

Easy run low boost!
If you don't have to worry about tough emission laws i woud go with either the revhard or the drag kit, but i would opt for the hondata instead of the fmu.

I dont think the sale is still going but ben @ http://www.importparts.com was selling a drag kit for $3199 and that included a Hondata! If I could do it again I would have gone that route. Other wise read a lot on here. Search the archieves and piece on together. There is a ton of information on here.

would custom end up being cheaper? or about the same in the long run vs. getting a kit?

im wanting to do the same thing right now. im just looking up reviews on parts and stuff and then buying the stuff that i want. with the kits you dont get guages, dump pipes, most likly not injectors. there are always other things your going to have to buy after you purchase the kit. the nice thing about the kit is that it has the ic pipes ready to go but other that that your paying for the name brand i think so i say go CUSTOM!

Ditch the fmu idea and get hondata if funds allow. You won't need to worry about the missing link/map bypass.
do a search under "hondata" and you will find everything that you will need to know.
As far as turbo size, check around, see what others are runing, and how they like it. I would recomend a t3t4 hybrid, what specs?? I'm not sure cause i don't have an ls so i can only speak for what i have (my t3t4) and how i like it with my engine. check http://www.cheapturbo.com they were helpfull to me when i picked my turbo.
