I'd rather spend money on crower rods than the cams. Cams wont really be bearing the brunt of the increase in torque (turbos increase torque by making more pressure in the cylinder, so you increase power also)...the bottom end will take most of the beating, the pistons as the front line, and the rods for having to transfer all the power to the crank, the rods can bend, snap, you name it.....so if i were you i'd get the forged pistons and some nice forged rods as well.

With the right fuel and tuning you should be ok w/ stock internals at 12psi...stronger rods and valves would be a definate plus though. With that much boost though you're going to wear down your motor very fast. You definately will need a good clutch.

No, you won't be OK with stock internals at 12psi... NOT worth the risk, I've heard of too many stories of people blowing things... Do it right, get the parts to "bulletproof" that motor... THEN crank the boost up.

or....keep your stock internals, add a inline pro headgasket, springs and retainers, fmu, afc, 440 injectors and run 15 lbs of boost w/ race gas to 8000 rpm's.
