Which connecting rods to get?
I'm thinking of getting the connecting rods for my soon-to-be FI Teg and would like to know which connecting rods is the best to get....I heard Endyn makes one of the best but also a lot of bad stuff about 'em....and what about Crower? are they any good? any comments would be appreciate!

actually, they say titanium is a pretty poor material to use for anything but full-race only applications (i.e., the motor will be torn down after each race). The reason being is that its a "clingy" metal, when it reaches high temps and speeds, it tends to cling to other metals, like your cylinder walls...i've heard excellent things about the endyn-modified eagle rods and crower's rods, i don't think you could go wrong with either.

Get Crower, Cunningham or Carrillo. All three are excellent choices. Ti rods are ultra light but are not cost effective to use on a street car. Ti tends to gall softer metals so other parts will break before the rods even think about failing.

I'd say go w/ Pauter. I love the X-Beam style and from what I hear, they are even stronger that Crower. But even Crower is strong enough b/c thats what all the big boys use. But to my knowledge, Pauter is stronger. Thats what I got.
pauter's are nice... i have heard good things about them but have not actually talked to anyone who has used them yet... crower u cant go wrong with... so many people are using them and so far i have not heard of one problem with them... as for the endyn rods... considering there is so much information going on about them... especially about their creidbility... i wouldnt get them... i would want to get something that is good and that is proven to be good
I used Crower, they were on backorder and I had to wait, I have always used what the general opinion points to, almost everyone making decent power on their Honda uses Crower, that is not to say that another company such a Pauter, is no good, actually, I was going to get the Pauters but at the last minute my supplier got a shipment of the Crowers. I have also heard very good things about the Pauter rods, I went to their website, I even called them and discovered that they build rods for sand and dirt 1/8 mile Dragsters. that requires a lot of strength. Especially for those dragsters making over 2000WHP.
