Default Turbo Ls 35 Shot: Stock Internals

I am currently running a ls turbo in my crx and was thinking about running a small shot nitrous. I run 9psi and am thinking it would be a good idea to tap in on my intake pipe where my filter sits so that the spray would hit my compressor resulting in qiuck spool and at the same time cool my charge and make it more dense. I dont run a management unit right now but will be getting one asap. Has anyone else ran a setup like this or am I just crazy for tring to do such a thing on a stock motor. I dont want to turbo the boost up I just thought it would be helpful to do a setup like this. If anyone has done something simular how did you have it ran and what type of kit did you use, thanks alot.

you have a couple problems...

first off nitrous going through your compressor will not spool your turbo... it is the byproduct of more power/exhaust once the nitrous is burned that spools quicker

the real problem is that if you use a rising rate regulator you can not use a wet shot, because it is impossible to get the fuel/nitrous mixture corect with extreme variances in fuel pressure...

if you choose a dry shot you may or may not have enough fuel... I would stay on the safe side and guess that you don't.. most dry shots raise the fuel pressure to compensate the fuel, your fuel pressure will already be raised to compensate the boost... it may work, but I wouldnt risk my motor for 35 hp...

Slivereg6, dont you have that really fast turbod hatch, I want to race you, focker .

Well if it doesnt spool your turbo qiucker, how come alot of real fast drag cars use something along those lines, maybe it does maybe it doesnt thats ll I am tring to find out.

Phoenix GSR already explained that in the post above yours:
"first off nitrous going through your compressor will not spool your turbo... it is the byproduct of more power/exhaust once the nitrous is burned that spools quicker"

In other words, after you burn the nitrous in your motor, the extra exhaust gases is what spools your turbo quicker. Not spraying it straight into your compressor.

How bout you take the money you would spend on the nitrous kit and get a fuel management system, that 35 extra hp could be made on a dyno...what size injectors are you running??
