Default Ls turbo Nitrous

I have a stock ls turbo running 10lbs of boost makin 260 hp..I've been thinking of running a small amount of nitrous just to keep the temp. in the pipes and intake manifold down and makin a bit more power..Now im lookin at a dry n20 kit and putting it as far away from the throttle body as possible.. Would this be a good idea? or do you think it would be to much for the motor to handle? gimme your feedback thanks

Since nitrous is going to be a 2nd power adder its going to respond differently than it would if it were the only power adder. If you spray a 50 shot, its going to put out double the power, so it would be like a 100 shot on an N/A car. If your going to run nitrous on a FI car I would only do it if your turbo was spooling late and you wanted to help spool if faster. Honestly if your only doing it for cooling purposes then you should look at getting an intercooler sprayer and spray CO2 at it, its cheaper than nitrous and cooling is equal to if not better than nitrous.

just turn up the boost? at that power level with an ok sized turbo air temps shouldn't be getting that bad.
