Default b18b1 Turbo and Nitrous?

im new to the honda world. I recently picked up a 1990 crx Im dropping in a b18b1 LS motor. Im gonna fully build it sleeved, pistons, rods, head work and so on. my question is I have a NOS fogger kit just sitting in my garage. Im gonna be running stand alone engine managment on the car. would it be ok for a 50 shot? it may be a pain to tune but im not sure. how do these motor react to both nitrous and turbo? im planning to run 22psi. and a 50shot just on top of that. only for emergencys and this is a track car only... not dailly driven thanks

anyone running both boost n juice?

you might blow the welds on the intake......but seriously, all things considered, you should be fine. 22psi? what turbo? how much power are you shooting for or what times do you want? what kind of emergencies do you plan on running into if it's only a track car where you would need nitrous?

Hm.. Yes you can use turbo and nitrous on a honda simultaneously, I dont believe its worth the trouble though. good luck.

so why are you going to fully build a motor to only make 350. you can do that on stock motor and 15 psi on a decent sized turbo. nitrous is pretty much useless unless you street race a car with a GT42R, then you could use some NX to help with the spool. other wise there really is no need.

you should go for more like 500+whp on a built motor used for weekend/drag racing...especially if you wanna run some bad-*** cobras

lol oh em eff gee. that had me shitting and i was thinking the same thing

in all seriousness, yes you can easily run a 50 shot plus boost if your motor is sleeved and built, and itll help a lot if youre running a bigger turbo that doesnt spool till late. but be careful, too much power and youll have to tear apart the block and replace the pistons you just fried

personally i wouldnt mess with the nitrous... the turbo alone is going to be enough to complete your "power goal" our racecars use turbo only, and have no problem belting out 800+hp at will.

nobody ever REALLY lowers there projections.U know u want 700WHP

But i would say 400-500 is the limit for the street, but u can do that on all turbo.
