Default Turbo I.D. Help

I just picked up a Garrett turbo an di need some help figuring out what one it is and a compressor map for it. thanks






The #'s in the last pic are H-4

That looks like a T3 from an old saab .42/.48

I can almost bet money on it!

just out of curiosity is it, oil and water cooled?

only oil cooled. it like new, only 300 miles on it. it was on a 05 civic

nice, i searched and didn't find a compressor map, any of you guys know where to find one, or have one?

I dont sorry, but its not a bad turbo at all and yours looks like its in nice shape. I think it should spool around 3k -3500k rpms and I think those are probably good up to around 250whp. So as long as your goal isnt much higher than that I think you'll be happy with that turbo.

i am not looking for much, it's just a stock B18b. Starting out smaller and will upgrade when i build the motor after i blow it or get bored

that turbo should make power all the way up to red line or very close to it (7k rpms) if your build it right i.e. tubular manifold, and a big exhaust...I'd go for a 3" exhaust and get an external wastegate.

i plan on a good exhaust next year, this year is just get the car running.

Personally, I think that turbo is a on the small side for a LS. I had a T3 Super 60 with .48 exhaust housing on my old old LS-T set up. The turbo spooled up at 2800 RPM. I can feel it start to fall on its face a little up top.

Few of my friends have T3/T4 57 trim on their LS seems to be the best all around turbo for a stock LS IMO. Not too much lag, has plenty of power up top, and have room to upgrade.
