Default need help identifying T3 Turbo

Hello All,

Purchased this a few months back with a kit and never got around to using it. I'm thinking about selling it but I have no clue if it's actually a super 60 i was told when I purchased it.

All I know up to this point:
1. It's made by Turbonetics
2. Has the model# 20357 in the cast portion (a quick google search shows the following:

.48 A/R but there are 4 different stages. Curious if there's a way to tell)

Thanks

Thanks, please let me know if the images are too big.

without measuring wheels your shooting in the dark, but based of what I can see it's a standard t3 turbine wheel (you can see the step on the turbine housing the t31 wheels eliminate the step) the compressor looks to be a non turbonetics part. the inducer looks awfully small for a super 60. looks more like a 50 trim if that. also the turbine wheel looks shiny. (signs of oil maybe??? if so the turbine seal ring is most likely blown) hope that helps

i am almost positive that this is NOT a turbo netics compressor cover, unless this thing has been rebuilt, i would be more worried that it is a knockoff

I remember being told it was polished. Not sure if that was true or if the cover was replaced. Hmmm.. Is that "T" in the cast portion the logo for turbonetics?

HaHa! You need to take off the housings and measure the wheels.

There are numbers I did not notice on the other side of the exhaust inlet. It's (2) 0358 which can be seen in the second picture.

measure the inducer ( the small side of the compressor wheel from tip to tip 180' from each other. then measure the total diameter of the wheel and post the results. the turbine housing is definitly a turbonetics part, but that doesn't mean the entire turbo is.

Looks like its maybe a ZY turbo....they have the "T" turbonetics emblem on the exhaust housing too, so don't think it has to be turbonetics. Look in the center part of the turbo (CHRA) and see if it has "ZY" on it, also does it have a tag on it?

I swear its a black label ZY turbo with the black label taken off the housing (even looks like it used to be there) and polished and the fake turbonetics exhaust housing.

Also, the compressor A/R size is inside the outlet of the housing, should say .XX, I can see a little bit of it in the picture

Mostly all casting marks are useless to identification.

You need to measure BOTH wheels small and large sizes within 1/16", then we can tell you waht it is. The difference between a 50trim and super60 is 1/8" and 75whp...
