turbo honda's and 100 or 200 cell race cats? any experience?
I'm basically considering putting on a 100 or 200 cell race cat on my turbo b16, currently making 333whp with 91 octane through a 3" dp and exhaust with no cat.
reason is that the car is a bit on the smelly side, just wondering if it will take away a lot of power? by a lot i mean more than 15whp? Are there any other downsides? like will it harm the turbo???
setup:
-b16b head on b16a block with LS pistons
-GT3076r turbo with ramhorn mani
-3" downpipe to 3" flexpipe to 3" exhuast all mandrel bent
anybody with experience or opinion please chime in
CLIFFS: what are the effects a 100 or 200 cell race cat will have on my car?

Wish I could help you but I've never tried running a cat. If you do try it out make sure you post up the whp loss as i'm curious as well.

If you check out the EvoM forums, they did a test of a 100 cell cat vs. a test pipe. Was about 5hp and 14tq
There's a company that sells the 100 cell cats...I can't remember the name, but it's something "spec" I think. Just Google 100 cell cat and you'll find them.
