after cat turbo system
has anyone seen those? i was reading in the new turbo mag about some sort of turbo kit that is after that cat. the pic showed it near the back of the car and they said the pipe to the engine was so long it had a cooling affect. they said the lag wasnt to bad... i just thought it was kinda weird. the company that makes it isnt going to make a kit for compact cars yet but they might... what do you guys think?
and i did search.
and i did search.

Re: after cat turbo system (pSI civic)
I have a 2003 subi WRX. Has 3 cats. First cat is in up-pipe going to turbo. First thing people do is gut the cat or replace the uppipe with a catless one. If nothing else it is a potential restrictor between exhaust and turbo.. the last thing you want in a turbo car. And note that this is factory designed system with millions spent probably on getting it to work. Also, in the STI they have removed the cat from the uppipe.

Re: after cat turbo system (beepy)
I have a friend that made one for his 300z, he says the lag isn't very bad at all, and turbo size affects it more than the distance, but it is a 6 cylinder
