Boosted B18B1. Hondata and a ton of other mods.

At idle my EGT's are sitting at 520 letting the engine warm all the way up. The car is running 11.8 AF ratio. Going to go test and see what it does at WOT. Any help for now would be great.

idle egts dont matter much since the engine isn't really working except to overcome its own friction. light throttle cruising it isn't odd to see up to 1500F, wot under boost in top gear I like to stay under 1450F, some people run hotter, but not me.

Well on my old EGT probe it was reading like 1700 but I think it was bad cause I just put a brand new comp probe in and it never really got past 1500. as well as it now after being beaten on hard and coming to a stoplight it was sitting at like 750-800.

It depends a lot on probe location. Mine is on runner #1 and showing 1550F at WOT top gear.

see mine is tapped into the runner coming from 1 but at the same time though it is very clowe to where all the exhaust comes together.

hmmz i thought most people put them on the down pipes

i thought the best place to put the probe was on the #3 runner?

#3 is the hottest supposively but my probe is on the 1st runner although located very close to the collector so it gets a good reading of a couple of the runners.
