what type of fuel management are you using? i dont beleive you can chip your ecu, you'd have to either convert to obd-1 if thats even possible and run hondata or uberdata. You can run around 8psi reliably which will give you around 190whpish if not a little more

Won't work, won't work, won't work.
The fuel system is returnless, so unless you plan on running a return line setup, you can't use a fuel pressure regulator. The stock one is in the tank attached to the stock fuel pump, and you can't put another one there. You can take out the stock pump and regulator, put a Walbro in there, run a return line, weld your stock fuel rail for the return line, use RSX injectors, and an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, but you have to do ALL of that or none of it will work. Then you'll still have to use the E-manage or the crap way with an S-AFC to control it. The AEM fuel rail for the D17 motors is not released yet, and no you can't use one from a previous generation. Venom 440cc injectors will also not fit the stock rail because of clearance issues with the stock throttle body.

If you do a good fuel system, the limit of the motor is 8-10psi. Most can hold 10psi OK, but it's a lot safer on 8psi. The key is to get a good fuel system and tune on it, and if you can afford the AEM EMS or E-manage to adjust timing, you'll be that much better off.
The transmission has held 300whp on many D17's so far, you just need to replace the clutch.

Re: Turbo D17A2......questions (Turbo D17)
yeah. I am running RSX-s injectors and emanage for my fuel system and it's holding great at 8psi. But when I go up to 10, I am going to use and MSD inline pump, new headgasket and alchy injection.
