yes they are more expensive but a b16 turbo would sloter a turbo d15 and its a good motor to build up for future plans

wow yall don't know what your talking about

first off don't buy a d15b (1.5 vetc)
if you are going to make the switch go with a d16z6 or d16a (1.6 vetc)
finding aftermarket parts for the d15b is a pain
trust me i have one sitting on a stand as we speak and a d16a in the car now

SOHC vs. DOHC
wow this is really a personal decision
i love SOHC-T however if you have the DOHC in the car now you are going to kick yourself in the nuts later for going through all that work just to step back
SOHC heads don't flow for **** look at rota's build
sohc at like 587 whp and he is the top dog
dohc will push out 600whp way easier and way cheaper (if you allready have the dohc in the car)
i know your not looking for 600 whp but at some time in your life you might
can a sohc hit 300 whp easily... hells ya search
can it be built... tell me one motor that can't be built lol
now 300 out of a stock d15b might happen but it won't last long
100% stock you would be in the 200 whp range
some head studs, pistons (vitra), rods (eagle) and your in the 350 whp range with only $500
save your money and boost the b16a

You say that you can sell the B16 for 2 grand, is this an assumption or is it a deal that is currently in the works? There may be a possibility that you can make a few extra bucks here.

If there isn't a deal already in the works, I would keep the B16.

yeah but what are you going to be useing it for. maybe the case that a b-series will hit 600whp way easier.......but honestly how many people use/ have 600whp motors in their honda's or even have 600fwhp period.
