Which Turbo??
but you were just complaning about smaller displacement , so smaller displacement and bigger turbo to you = better results?
i am not really following here.
too many people worried about going with the fad rather than going with parts that well match their set up. lets just throw on an Sc61 or T3/67 and call it a day becuase everyone else is.

Better results for me yes. Personally I'm not one to go with the fad. I do the research, make the phone calls, and decide on what's best for my setup. He's trying to decide what's best for him. That's all it is...

Ok. I guess it's better to run a bigger turbo from the start, instead of regretting to get a bigger turbo down the road.
I guess it boils down to:
SC61 or T3/ 60-1

God damn everyone on here loves big *** turbos. A mid sized SC34 can support up to 525hp according to Precisions website. If I were in your shoes Id pick a SC50. http://www.precisionte.com/sportcompact.php
I would take the SC32 or SC34, but if I were in your shoes I would get the SC34.
I know everyone is always looking for more power so that right there would be in the middle of most street power ranges.

I ran the SC34. It's a nice "street" turbo, but I wasn't that impressed with it. I had to run alot of boost to get decent power out of it.

I like the t3/60-1. When I upgraded it was between that and the t3/t67.

A t3/60-1 is prolly the worst choice he can make. That turbo is hardly efficient till after ~14psi and quite the lag monster. (An appropriate sized t3/t4 that is WITHIN its efficiency range @ the 7-8psi he wants to run will prolly make more hp per psi than the t3/60-1 @ those power levels)
T3/60-1, SC61, T3/T67 are all WAY too big for his goals ...both now and later. Sacrafising spool for top end is just Gay. Any t3/t4 with .63ar exhaust housing will pull hard as hell past redline on a B series. Honestly the decision comes down to how you want your powerband. You can get away with running a larger turbo if the car is mainly used for drag. (always WOT and don't fall outa boost between gears). Ive been in cars with Huge turbo's and others with "appropriate" sized turbo's and the smaller turbo cars are ALOT more fun IMO on the street. (BTW: since when is a t3/to4e small? gotta love H-T

I agree the t3 60-1 is not a good choice at all for your setup. I'd personally would go with a sc61 t04e. This turbo will hit 1bar at about 5000rpm so figure in your 7-8psi to be lower then that. How much faster do you really want full boost to kick in. Personally I think between 4-5 grand for full boost would be perfect. Any lower is going to cause a good amount of wheel spin and any higher will cause some nice turbo lag. That's how I see it at least.

Which one is known to have better Turbo's?</TD></TR></TABLE>
as much as i hae the hype id prob go Presicion before turbonetics. ive been seeing alot of them blowing seals laltely. thats just my opinion though. Dont forget about Garret. Dude you can get a T3\o4e for dirt from cheapturbo.com. and Innovative is a little more , but great turbos. dont limit it to the H-Tech hype of parts

IM looking to get a mid 300 and a T3T4 60 Trim, .60comp, .63 turbine.
I dont see the point of humongo turbos for your goals.
I mean sure they can make alot of power, but for your build get what suits you best. Like someone said above you can make plenty of power on a properly sized T3T4, itll make the power you want, and give better spool.
