Tuning question, fuel!
Today will tune the H22A(JDM 10.6 comp.) with GT28RS. Engine is stock but with 1.9mm Cometic head gasket and ARP studs. Want to go max boost 1.5 bar ~21psi. Don't want to risk with engine because of gas station fuel, we have here max high octane 98in US it's different number. I can tune the car with Neste Green Racing 100 octane to do the tuning at max boost ~1.5 bar.
Can I do the like that? Because this high octane is very expensive fuel, we are not so rich to drive with it every day - 5$usd for 1 liter. And then for everyday drive low down the boost to 1 bar (14.5psi) drive with 98 octane and the same fuel map tuning.

Your best bet is going to be to tune the setup on two maps. One for high octane and one for lower octane fuel.

it's not so much the fuel map you need to worry about as it is the timing map.
If you are going to be driving the car mostly on 98 octane tune it on 98 octane
then map a race map for when you have the high octane stuff in there.
the higher the octane of a fuel the more resistance to combustion it has, so you will need a different map if you switch the octane, thats why cars like the prelude stock computer retards the timing and switches to the low octane map if you put anything less then 91 in it.
turning down the boost to run lower octane isn't a solution while it will help it's not going to solve the problem since your timing is most likely going to be too advanced for the lower octane since you tuned on the higher octane.
If you can't control timing and fuel independently then you shouldn't be boosting to 21psi =P
but yes you will need 2 different maps for the various octanes and each time you switch the maps make sure you tank is completely empty because mixing gas is cause an average of the octanes and that will require a different map to run correctly

yea he's right...but the only reason i could see you turning down the boost...(other than it's a stock block) is higher boost on lower octane = detonating! which is basically timing like DC said....

Exactly, we have stock engine block with 1.9mm head gasket. And the 98 fuel here could be tricky. You will never know what you get, how much water in it.
This is our setup:
h22a JDM
Cometic head gasket
Arp head studs
GT28RS
Ramhorn type manifold
680cc precision inj
Walbro 255 fuel pump
denso iridium 27cold spark plugs
2.5" down pipe
My tools
Xenocrone po6 ecu
Crome pro
Moates emulator
custom made tuner com cable for live monitoring

DAMN!!! The Chrysler 300 hit me at local Honda dealer. We are now back in time....
It was first test drive. I was just standing and waiting when the line will be free next moment 2 hard hits and the cryslers wheel almost at window high spinning, want to drive in to preludes salon.

Insurance manager taking photos

The car is completely technically restored and tuned. Last job was left the paint job. And here you are - crash. Monday we will go to insurance, will see. Maybe will get some extra money.

I will take this serious, no prob. We have greedy boost B profec2. Set now 0.8bar(~11psi) car scares me all ready. Didn't rew it more than 4500k before fine tune. Anyway it's good, very good. That is my first experience with ball bearing garret on Honda. Install them lot on S13 and S14 before.
P.S.
Crysler bent the drivers side reactive beam against the lude steel. The wheels looks different ways.

Here are 8 month autumn+winter+spring. Then 3 month summer, with lot of rain. I have seen lot of water killed engines here, it's not the best idea.
We will pack the ex manifold.

Maybe it's karma Armand.....
Yup it's me Mario. Maybe this is a way for your god to inflict damage on your for stealing my and other pp.com members money with your scam.
I feel bad for the 3GP, since I'm a fanatic. I wont feel bad for you though. Good luck and I hope you get everything straightened out.
(For those who don't know, Armands Sakne, can't remember his last name correctly, he started a group buy over at preludepower.com for some H22 3GP engines mounts, I and countless other members paid him for something he couldn't produce, later to find out from other Latvia members on our site that Armands is a thief and everyone knows to stay away from him in his own town. I apoligize if my post is out of line)

nah, prolly God saying, this is what you get from scamming fellow prelude owners.
i hope insurance totals it and you never get another 3rd gen in your life. or a Honda in general for that matter.
go buy a Hyundai

Agreed. Karmic retribution is a beeyatch. Armand got what he deserved, too bad it had to be a message delivered through his 3G.
Do you know what nemesis means? A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent.

There is one good thing that came out of this horrible situation. It forced me to get off of my butt and have the H22 Mounts made in the US out of better quality material and have a legitatmate business produce them, for all 1988-1991 Prelude to enjoy and not just a select few.
