Default Octane and boost

QUick dumb and easy question..... Can you run more boost if your injectors are maxxed out and but you add a higher octane.. like something over 100 octane? or is that just stupid and i should be kicked in the face for thinking it??

A higher octane could help you run more timing and not detonate, but if there is not enough fuel for more boost, there is not enough fuel.

Octane doesnt allow you to run more boost it just is a measure of how resistant the fuel is to detonation. If you simply dont have enough fuel for x amount of boost running a higher octane fuel wont make a difference because you still only have x amount of fuel which is still not enough for the x amount of boost you are trying to achieve.
