Yea, I am fully satisfied with my UD 1.70 3 bar tune and after some time I got cold start, hot start, tip in, all that sorted out. Its just the damn IAT correction that really causes me trouble and it does not sound to me like anything else has it any better. Last try will be putting a potentiometer in place of the IAT and hard setting to a fixed temp it as it seems to be doing more bad than good in my car. If that dont work I may just say screw the stock honda ecu and try a megasquirt varient.

i was using uberdata when i was na, loved it. i was going to use it on my stock block turbo project. but decided to go built motor/gt35r instead. im now going to be using the aem ems.

uberdata was nice, but pulling chips and buring them got kinda old after a while. other than that.. no complaints.

im also selling my chipped p28

Most of my complaints are with the UD software itself, not the bin files it creates. The application crashes all the time and lots of times changes I make do not end up in the final .bin file for some random reason. Oh, and I really think the whole load P72 map->import other map thing is really ghetto. The software itself inspires no level of confidence....

On 1.8 it's really neat how you cannot use the 'save' function, you can only 'save as'. This makes tuning a dream come true.

Then again, it's free, so I shouldn't be complaining. hehe.

He asked what YOU use, not what you have to pay somebody else to use.

I'm using uberdata and it runs perfectly fine.

I'm running my 750cc injectors in open loop all the time and i get great gas mileage.

there are a few issues with it like it has been mentioned before. the larger the injector you have the harder and more noticeable the problems are to sort out and the support is almost non-existent.

for now i will continue to use it as its so much more convenient to tune it myself rather than pay some shlep to tune it for me. but in the future i think i will look into AEM EMS if i can find one for the right price. unless they actually release some good working updates to correct some of the issues most people are experiencing.

i tried to used crome free and i just can't stand the interface.......i fine UD much easier to use..........dunno......

I tune uber, my biggest thing is IAT correct and startup/tip in problems. But other than that, the software for me is easy to use, since I use it so much. Crome is just pissy with me, so I don't use it too much. I use a 2.5 bar map, and tuned it in half an hour. With my own scalars. Also did a three bar. This was with an ostrich, and just part throttle. There have been adjustments since, but it has never really pissed me off like crome does.

Cause few people bother to see which tables in the ROM are indexed by IAT.

http://forum.pgmfi.org/viewtop...art=0

The answer is in there. I'm doing some experimentation to narrow it down. The shape of the tables is enough to almost give it away...

Out of 10+ 3bar cars I have tuned. I have yet to have an issue with 3bar + crome.
My guess is you never played with map cutoff values

irrelevant....our ems's are jsut as efficient as an aem unit. granted you do have some extra features, no need to knock it. all the problems listsed in this thread get the job done
