Default tune

K, so I just picked up a decently built turbo gsr motor from a freind of mine, it's tuned with HONDATA S200.. But everyone is telling me that since it's going into my car I need to get it re-tuned? Is this true? Also, if I put a tubular monifold, in place of the cast iron manifld, would I need to re-tune then as well?

if you change the manifold you need to retune it.

Even if it was already tuned before, it wont hurt to have it tuned by your choice of tuner. Who knows how well the other guy had it done, who he went with, etc.

After changing manifolds you shouldnt need to re-tune, however I would just to make sure the air/fuel ratios are good. You get the fullest benefit out of everything by tuning it.
