i plan on installing my big t3/t4 .60 trim turbo kit on in spring...call me stupid if ya must, but my friend, that is a v8 guy i must say, said i shouldnt need something as hondata, uberdata, chrome, or any of that stuff. He said i can tune my stock ecu, is that true? or are those a must? as far as i knew, they were and a tune is not a tune without them? can i get some advice? if thats true, then why would ppl buy them? ya know

 

I would definately get some tuning... It'll run A LOT better and A LOT longer if you do. Tuning is the most important part of any forced induction build. Dont listen to your friend, he doesnt know what hes talking about.

yeah you should get the extra stuff. you NEED engine management (i.e hondata, uberdata, crome)

 

yes u need engine management whether it be a high buck piece like hondata, aem ems, or atleast minimum an fmu
