Hi, we planning on buying a large Treadstone core for our Drag Car (72mm Turbo, 95 lb/min). Does your comment relate to the specific cores the OP was mentioning or the Treadstone range in general.

The core I'm looking at is the 18 x 12.5 x 4.5 (1000Hp)

Treadsrone's fin setup in general. But if you already got it, try it, it may be just enough for under 1000hp.

theshodan the core sizes im looking at they rate at 500 and 666hp 7.8x22x3.5 and 10.5x22x4 which do you think would be best from those 2? my set up wont go over 500whp and i dont plain to grow for a year or two so is the bigger one be best as there not that great of a cooler ? and isnt a center in and out the best route to go as stated earlier it allows air to across the cooler more effectively.

Again, if you must use a Treadstone, I'd be safe and use the larger one. (which is about good to 570whp at its maximum, anyway.) .

I've got the TR10 which is the one rated for 666hp. Never noticed any high temps except at the track heat soaking the IAT sensor.

I had the TR8 on my 300whp build anticipating I was going to go for more. But they are constructed well.
