...you have to know when to pick your fights... and unless you're Michael Schumacher, I wouldn't advise racing in the rain...

However, should you line up next to a rear-drive V8 in the wet, just smile and give him a thumbs up, and know he's got you on this one. You can always pay him back later if you're car is capable...

Well that was some helpful advice i know you can try and boost only a few psi for the first gear and then go to higher limits in the next couple gears, or i know that alignin the tires makes a difference but is there anything else short of not mashin the pedal like Mr. Obvious wrote here, and i wasnt talkin about you roadrunner

some cars have throttle cams that are not circular, so that small throttle angles, the larger radius allows a gentler opening rate. Most of the people that get rid of those for the circular "performance" throttle cams are looking for quicker response, the opposite of what we're discussing here, LOL...

I wonder if these exist in the Honda/Acura world?

so say I'm puttin down 200 whp and 200 lb ft on an otherwise stock suspension on a 2k LS with some Azenis. I wouldn't be able to keep traction if I floored it from a standstill, not launching at 3.5k on the street?
