Crome's timing number's really are not accurate. Do your self a favor & stay away from full throttle conditions until you are on a dyno & can monitor for signs of detonation. Honestly, I would suggest switching to eCtune, Neptune, Hondata :-P

im just using free crome for now...i might switch over to ectune later on...but i was just wondering if my timing was on the conservitive side for now?..or should i take more retard/psi out?..id like to street tune it up to 10-12 psi for now?
thanks for the input

Re: timing?? (turbo boost)
on my st tune i did i run .75 retard and 180% fuel boost compensation. i had .9 like u said and it was too much retard for my setup but yours is prob higher compression so may be ok for u .. just make sure its not popping or detonating..

well u didnt tell us what kind of fuel you are using...
do some WOT pulls on the highway, turn off the engine at the top of your pull, pull over and read the plugs. if u see signs of detonation try to back off the timing. if not give it a tiny advance.
this was my plan but i ended up doing the smart and right thing and hit the dyno
well worth the $300

Re: (turbo boost)
.9 should be a good starting point. just make sure u look at the columns after you use the boost table adjustments because if u make changes to ignition retard, sometimes the resulting timing numbers come out all messed up.
if you absolutely aren't going to a dyno, make sure you pull plugs after any changes and check for detonation.

Re: (turbo boost)
yes, looks like specs and sounds like popcorn popping. there's a write up somewhere on here about reading plugs. it's pretty good. i really prefer s300 over crome though.
