Do you have your wastegate seeing boost off the compressor housing??? if so then it could just be pressure drop from the IC. First I would try plugging the compressor vacum port and running a vacum line from intake to the wastegate and see if pressure drop from IC is the problem if not then you have to have an exhaust leak or leak in the piping or intake.

exhaust leak like where the dp meets the cat or where the dp meets the turbo.

no the leak would be before the turbo like on your manifold or where the turbo bolts to the manifold or the wastegate may have loosend and its leaking from there

no you wouldnt lose 2psi from that. That is exactly how I run mine. My guess is either A) IC pressure drop or B) Exhaust leak somewhere before turbo. It could be a leak somewhere in the intake but it would have to be decent size because the low boost you are running the turbo would be able to make up the difference for a small leak. I am gonna say IC pressure drop, so try running the wastegate vacuum line to a good spot on the intake manifold and see if that fixes it.

I thought you always run the hose from wastegate to the side of the turbo compressor.

You can but you dont have to. The problem with running it to the compressor housing is that you are getting pressure before the intercooler well as is the case with most peoples intercoolers you will have pressure drop after the IC so it is better to run the wastegate line into the intake mani. so that you are getting a true 7.5 psi and not losing some b/c of pressure drop.

Connect it to the intake manifold!

where on the manifold is the best place to hookup vacuum on manifold.

For the wastegate, I'd get a Tee and hook it to the brake booster line.

btw....the brake line is most likely a 10mm line...so you would need a Tee with the main size as a 10mm...and the side port the size of your wastegate line.

is it safe to tee it off the brake booster
