Default tech question about my crazy A/F gauge

heres my setup , i have a 99 gsr with a DRAG gen 3 turbo kit in a 93 hatch, fuel management for me is a vortech FMU, HOlley fpr, Holley intank forced induction pump, rc 310 cc injectors, the "missing link" boost blocker and an str fuel rail, in addition to the stuff included in the drag kit i also run a msd 6al with ngk wires and plugs. i run 7-8psi in the car and i use the 12:1 disk for the fmu. my problem is under ful boost my AF autometer gauge only goes to the yellow LED's, not to green like it should under full load. and while driving regular the LED only bounces from red to yellow reletively slowly and lighting up about 7 LEDS at a time. When i check the plugs they are always burning rich, and I never hear any detonation in the car at all, no black smoke either. my question is what is causing the AF gauge to read like that, i replaced the o2 sensor the ecu, and the whole fuel system, what should fuel pressure be??im at about 42psi's. People have said that it could be a bad battery or alternator thats causing a voltage drop or a bad ground. I dont know can anybody make any suggestions?? i was thinking of rewiring the gauge to a better ground and power source, i dont know somebody help me out here...thanks

Thats just how these gauges work, they run off the voltage from the stock O2 sensor..it can find stoich(.5 volts) but anything outside of that it cannot read the levels...you need to get your ride up on the dyno w/ wideband to monitor your AF ratios...

Mine acted just as gay, so I sold it to my friend with a Probe GT and it worked like its supposed to in his car. I guess my fuel system was fucked up somewhere.

the a/f guage is only good at stoich. i have both the a/f and techedge wide band. when the wide band reads 14.6 the a/f guage reads rich and at 14.8 the a/f guage reads lean. so you could be running 14.6 and the guage would read rich which is not the case in turbo.
