i just picked up this turbo but i dont know much about it. can some1 tell me the specs, capablity, etc etc.. it has tdo5h stamped on it.
o yeah this is used how can i clean it? what do i need to do to make work? cuz the impeller or whatever doesnt spin.

how do i find if its 18g? is it stamped somewhere on it?

 

stock talon isnt it??? 16G, if it dont spin its probably spun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

its not good to spin the compressor with no oil in it.. its probably fine a turbo if the shaft ans no movement in it.

 

The 2G Eclpses used T25's, so that can't be outta that. 1G's used a 14B which I belive used a TD05 housing, so that's probably what you have. Swap out the wheel for a 16G or Super 16G for power upper end power and easy spool. When I first picked up my TD04, it spun but with alot of resistance since it had no oil, as long as there's no shaft play it should be fine.

 

i was messing with it alittle trying to clean it and the exhaust housing came off exposing the impeller. what went wrong there? is there suppose to be clips, screws, or something that holds these two parts together?
