depends which td05, you can get a 14b, which coems stock on 1g dsms and you can get a 16g which comes off the jdm evo 1-3 engines. or you can get a 18g or you can get a 20g, a 20g will make power all teh way to 8k rpms, but with the other turbos you may be runnign out of turbo by 7500, the 20g will take longer to spool but you will have killer top end. all fo these are mitsubishi turbos fyi

I think the 16G would be fine for a boosted B16. A super or big 16G would be perfect. I wouldn't choose it for a built motor though.

i have an 18g, and personally, if i were to do it again, i'd definately get something bigger like a t3/t4, something externally gated

greddy turbos are just a PITA

but yea, a bigger turbo would be good for a B16, but you could run any of the above minus the 14b and regular 16g.

look, you can get yourself a 14b, send it to http://www.forcedperformance.net , and for 500$ they will turn it into a 14b, forced performance specializs in making high hp bolton dsm turbos, they are the best of the best. a used 14 might run ya around 150$. oh and tey dont call it super big 16 anymore. Its either a small 16g, big 16g or evo16g. The reason for running a big turbo like a t3/t4 on your b16 is that at 9psi of boost or 12, I forget whats the safe maximu, you will be able to run more hp than a 16g at that same psi, and no you dont want to turn up the boost on the smaller turbo because anything above the safe limit for your engine, guessing 10-12psi, you wwould be detonating cause your high compression. 16g will work good on your car and so will a 18g but if you want to pull hard towards 8000 rpm youd want a 20g.
