Hey Guys,
I have a few questions about this turbo.

1.) Can I run this turbo and wastegate with only 6psi if I find the correct spring?

2.) I'm using it on a stock d16z6, what do you guys think of doing this?

3.) Anyone have any comments on this turbo at all?

4.) What will the spool time on this be like

I currently have a Turbonetics T3/T04E with .60 compressor A/R and .48 turbine A/R. This turbo is on my B18A1, and is very responsive. I am only running 8psi, and it spools rather quickly for what it is. I don't know the RPM that full spool @ 8psi is reached, but I can tell you this afternoon after my drive home.

194whp/164tq @ 8-8.5psi
172whp/143tq @ 6psi
165whp/140tq @ 5psi

I don't know what spring is in the internal wastegate on the turbo but i ran mine with an external. if you do find a 6psi spring that should be fine. i ran mine on a bone stock y8 motor... it should be fine on ur stock d16z6. I loved that turbo, awesome for a street sohc. i used to get full boost around 3500-3800 rpm with the turbo

I would say that's about right for my setup too.
