There are many threads like these, so you unlikely to get a detailed response here with such a generic question.

In short yes it is possible, the level of the build depends on what fuel you plan on running. A "pump gas" 93 octane 500whp build and an E85 500whp build are quite different. Decide on this first and then the other pieces will be easier to put together.

Also you need to decide what purpose you are building the car for - street, strip, dyno queen etc..

Depends on a tonne of variables that we don't know.

Compression ratio, turbo choice, manifold design, rev limit...

If one were so inclined, you could probably still build a pretty "responsive" turbo 500WHP Honda with the right choice in parts. A new 3071 could probably get the job done.

I had this idea in my mind that that much power would be somewhat laggy on the street. But I guess like you said with the right stuff it could work well.

500whp on 93 octane requires a larger turbo to make that peak power number. After about 360whp -420whp is about as far as you want to go.

You want two tunes if going E85.-one as a lower boost pressure tune, and one to use higher pressure. use the boost controller to change settings when you change fuels.

Remember, "t3t4" is a very genetic term too use. That could literally be hundreds of wheel combinations, so you need to select a turbocharger that can reach you goal to match, and still be responsive in the lower boost pressures too.

The GT3071R can do up to about 450whp, but that's at higher boost pressures over 25psi. So, its close, but a teeny bit larger staying I the GT30 turbine wheel family will still be best.

E85 isn't the only high knock resistant fuel to use. It may be inexpensive to fill the tank, but more expensive to prep for. Just take that into account in your budgeting.

Thanks for the info! My car is a daily driver, so the 360-420whp range you listed is what I'll be after when I put a turbo on my car. I'm going to stay on pump gas also.

Piston and Rods - check, 10:1 CR is good for a responsive E85 setup
ARP headstuds - check
Stock ports are fine
Stock GSR cams are fine or you can upgrade to Skunk Tuner 1 or GSC T1
Valvesprings and retainers - check
1000cc injectors - too small for E85
DW 340 or Walboro 450 fuel pump
Turbo with a flow rating of at least 55 lb/min - GTX3071, GTX3076 (Gen 1 or Gen 2), BW S252 SX-E, BW S257 SX-E, BW EFR7163
