Starting Problem. LSV-T.
Hello guys,
Havin a little problem with my car, I have a 96 Civic HB with a LSV T forged internals, for its first start up, it went just fine , with a P28 chipped I had, I sold the ECU , and bought me the S300 V2 , I plugged it in yesterday, and the car won't stay on for more than a second or so. I also have a steady CEL Code 6 ECT. Will this be the cause ?
The S300 has a basemap, supposedly with match components. I have . (ID1000's, precision 6262, 4 bar map, sk2 IM. )
Note: Boost solenoid, and all vacuums not connected yet( boost gauge, turbo, Wastegate, etc.) , is this affecting it ?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Starting Problem. LSV-T.
Thanks for the reply, but there should be something wrong that is not letting it stay on, like I said , with all the mentioned parts disconnected it used to start right up with the P28 Chippd ECU. I'm trying to not have any problems at all so when I go to tune it , its just tuning rather than troubleshoot and tune.
And yes , I'm workin on finishing it.

Re: Starting Problem. LSV-T.
All tuners I know of, will want the car to at least start and idle...Not necessarily a good idle though.
Your going to need to trace down the ECT problem. Sounds like a loose wire in one of the connectors and when you swapped the ecu and it came fully loose. I can provide you with wiring info, but I need to know what harness, etc is on the car.
You also use the words, "supposedly" the s300 is setup with the same injectors. You need to connect to it and verify everything is correct.

Re: Starting Problem. LSV-T.
I'm going to try to troubleshoot it, harness being used is OBD2A, no crank sensor. I need to get a little more familiar on how to navigate on the S300 .
Thanks for the reponse.

Re: Starting Problem. LSV-T.
So I found my problems, , CEL Code 6 was just the Plug for the sensor I connected it to the VTEC press sw. Swapped it and CEL gone, for the Startin its just the basemap it has , back on track. Should be plugin vacuums on my days off ! .
