Default Boost Problem....

I have a problem where my car runs like crappy after I boost. I haven't gotten my ecu chipped yet so I'm currently using a missing link and fmu for now. I'm pretty sure that it's because my map sensor is seeing the boost cause my check engine light comes on when I boost but I don't have the Diagnostic tool to see what the error code is. But if I turn my car off and then back on it's fine I think is running too rich after boost. Any thoughts would be very helpful.
