no it's not the same, I mean spraying a 50 shot for 2 seconds isn't as nice as having all that power when you hit 3500 and the turbo spools up and you blow right by them.
Nitrous is a "instant" gain in HP and a turbo is a gradual increase of power. With Nawwzzzz it's a cold shot of air that "burst" into your motor and boost is quite the same, but not as much of a "burst" like I said earlier it's a gradual increase of power, but it's a LOT of power... more so than a 50 shot of nitrous. As for the equivalent of a 50 shot nitrous, it all depends on the size of your turbo and your set up. On a inter-cooled t3 set up it's about 4-6 pounds of boost. Hope that helped.
and a turbo is cheaper in the long run? unless you never fill up your bottle.....

have you 50 shot from 2500-4500k and let you turbo do the work after that and you can use a purge kit ti cool your intercooler abit too.

Actually, more importantly than being a cold shot of air, N2O (Nitrous Oxide) breaks down in the motor, seperating the nitrogen from the oxygen. it then acts as an oxidizer helping the fuel to burn better, giving you your horsepower gain.
to me nitrous is like have a roots style blower like the jrsc i have owed all 3 nitrous jrsc and just last week turbo charged now the nitrous and the blower remided me of the same but with n20 its not all the time that power was there right away but when you let of that was it i also had the zex wet kit and it was activated at wot so thats why i say it felt like the supercharger becaue all i did was mash the pedel and i had power just like jrsc but for the turbo i i have to wait a hot sec for it to spool up. but as far as it showing boost on a gauge it will not

Dont know if this will help you but I ran a 14.85 in the 1/4 in my car with a 55 shot zex dry and then ran a 14.70 with the same setup on 3psi of boost non-intercooled with a Garrett/Airesearch T3 .48/.42
