someone please explain something to me about wastegates
what is the advantage on running an external wastegate? I have a T04 with a deltagate wg, but i'm thinking of running a smaller turbo with an internal wastegate. What am I going to lose from this setup? I only plan to run like 7-8 lbs max boost

External wastegate you can run more boost with less spikes depending on the gate they are more acurate and flows the exhaust beter

i wouldnt use an actuator type wastegate. externals hold boost better and you can adjust the valve with the wastegate spring.
