Some Vac and boost questions...
I searched but didn't find anything close enough...
Basically, I've tried 2 different WG actuators on my 14b turbo (d16y8). I know both of them open because I used a compressor and sprayed air through them today while they were hooked to the WG flapper. My problem is that they do not seem to open at all while driving. I have my BOV, FPR, and boost gauge tapped off the intake manifold, and I have the WG actuator tapped off the nipple coming off the charge pipe on the turbo. Neither of the WG's seem to be getting enough air to open. The only thing I'm not sure of is what PSI they are set at. The person I bought them from said they were 7psi, but even after 10 psi they aren't opening. I definetely don't want to be above 8psi right now....any ideas????

You need to take the boost signal from the nipple on the compressor housing, as per stock. Otherwise you will make much more boost than you want!
