Boost leak but holding boost perfectly?
I made a thread not too long ago aboutbeing able to hear the air rushing through my IC piping. People mentioned i might have a leak. However, before i spend hours in my garage trying to find them is it even possible to have boost leaks when my boost gauge holds perfectly steady at 8psi? Is it possible that it reads 8psi but that between the wastegate and the intake manifold some pressure is lost and the turbo just spins a bit more to make up for this?
I was having an issue with my car not pulling top end but me and my friends were just blaiming it on the clutch.
Opinions?
Thanks, Johnny.

have you pressurized the system yet? thats the easiest way to find out.
sometimes boost leaks wont become as apparent untill the boost level rises. sometimes it can feel sluggish down low as a result of a boost leak, even though its now showing anything odd on the gauge.
