Default Sleeves...

I finally got my motor out today and im going to purchase new rods, pistons and i was wondering if anyone thinks i need new sleeves? I want to run somewhere in the 300 hp range (oh yeah it is a B18C1). A couple other questions...do i need to do anything to the head and anything to the crank? Please help...

OK thanks. Any turbo you recommend for that power range? Im going to piece a kit together. Also what compression do you think. I was thinking somewhere around 9:1 to be on the safe side.

9:1 compression or maybe 9:5:1 depending on you managment and a sc61 will not fail you

you serious? hell no not for 300whp...

get something a LOT smaller like a t3/t04e 50 trim, GT32, or something... you want something that gives you usable power for the street, and still get you 300whp no probelm

There are so many damn turbos to choose from. I just want a reliable one that isn't going to drain me money wise but yet get the power i want. Also, im sure this question is asked alot, but what does it mean whan you refer to trim?

log, faster spool in your case, a/c compatible, and your not worried about that super hp number.

these guys make some really nice manifolds, I recently used the log style manifold on a friends turbo kit that we installed.

Like other people said.. a 50 trim t3/t4 e housing will be perfect for your situation.. Don't go ANY bigger or it's just a waste. You'll have alot more lag w/ a sc61 which isn't necessary. A log manifold and some non-high dollar parts will do the trick and it will easily make 300whp and be very reliable.

I hate to make a plug but if you're interested I have a maxrev manifold/downpipe/dumptube/wastegate for a very fair price and it would be perfect for you.. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1023784

I'd stick with a fairly simple setup for 300whp and you should be fine. Feel free to pm me if u got any questions. Thanks.
