I think you need to make a decision that only you can decide on. What's the bottom end built for? Compression ratio? type of pistons? Rods?

if you have already spent lots on low comp pistons, I'd go turbo - but it's your call.
personally - i'm building a crvtec and it's going to be NA.

YES, DO IT!
Get your self a low milage D15 and go all out. ITB, Custom Header, Everything!.
Then when your at the streetraces, and you blow the doors off of those turbo cars, you can tell them, You got the idea for the build from H-T.

if you're going for all MOTOR make sure you have lots of money tho, cause it cost more to make the same amount of hp for all motor than boosted..

Re: Should i Leave boost for all motor
I just noticed you where from WA.
How much do you have invested into your "turbo build"?
How much more $$$ do you need to finish that build?
How fast are you planning on going? goals? ect.
Or are you just jumping on the bandwagon, since thats whats cool rite now?

Re: Should i Leave boost for all motor
Are you sure you are on the right site? lol
While you can build a decent non vtec all motor car the funny thing is you have to start with a vtec head...so no matter what...it is a VTEC motor with VTEC always on...but called non VTEC since only one set of lobes are used...the big vtec lobes
Vtec killer cams were the rage for a while until street driving became a real pain in the $#$...now you can build an H/F series that would crush vtec killer cam numbers lol and still be "street friendly"
Crazy how much changes but stays the same in 14 years lol

Re: Should i Leave boost for all motor
Personally, I think you should stick with turbo since you already have the money invested into it and its gonna be a lot easier to reach your hp goals.
I'm not sure how much higher you plan on going over 400 but if its a considerable amount I would suggest some different pistons. I don't know exactly what the srp hp ratings are but from what I understand they're a little bit softer than some of the other higher quality companies due to their high silicone content.

i was kinda playing devils advocate in asking. i know a lot of guys are on here learning everything they can. it's good that they understand the "whys?" and "hows?" and what is reasonable or futile.
you said it well, streetability declines quickly at a point with non-vtec all motor.
thanks
