i ran one in my car. d16 turbo. I never ran into any problems that i believe were caused by using it. I had it in two different engines. im about to put it in my next engine build. I have the race eng one tho. it doesnt seem to have as big of holes as some other brands i've seen.

If you install a blockguard properly, then you shouldnt have any issues running one. If you havent seen the latest thread about the SOHC hatch that layed down 460hp on stock D series sleeves (the pink full race one), see if you can dig it up. I would just save my $ for sleeves and ditch the blockguard and get it tuned by somebody who really knows what they are doing....
good luck
