Default should i swap my dx tranny for a ex tranny

should I swap my dx tranny for a ex tranny.. for turbo.. whats the advantage of a ex tranny and disadvantage?

yes , swap it. Shorter gearing will be good.

because they are idiots.....ok before i **** anybody off....j/k......
They claim that longer gears allow you to be in boost longer, well you are because your accelerating slower ...
Shorter gearing is generally better for acceleration, the only time you really need to run longer gears is if you run out of gear (top speed exceeds the gearing) before the end of the pass. From what i've heard some of the known pro racers run type r trannies or b16a trannies because of the shorter gearing...
Bottom line shorter gearing = faster acceleration...
think of it like riding a bike, put it in a higher gear it's harder to accelerate from a stop and takes more energy to get going.

I don't want this to turn into a flame war or battle about longer vs shorter gearing. I've read enough of those in the past, i don't neet to contribute to one...
