Just make sure you get a decent quality boost controller and you wont have this problem. Much better then upgrading your WG spring IMO.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Ditto, just make the hoses as short as possible and use a ball and spring mbc, not a bleeder. I've been using them for yrs without any problems. They are only $4 in parts. I made a how-to seen HERE

hey guys, im new to the "dark side" haha but not that new to honda's I've had 3 and they have been all motor, and one with a build head and 75 shot, but i just got a jdm 18c hatch, and it's not fast enough, and i wanna go turbo..
I've been reading up on turboing and what to do and what not to do, and I've been Reading in FI forum for a bit, but while reading this post and boosting sound really fun, but ya'll got me worrying about blowing my motor... so what will keep me from saving my motor, i plan on running about 10-12 lbs so if ya'll need any more info, about what ill be running let me know so i can get my set up straight thanks guys

First off, get the book Maximum Boost: Designing, Testing, and Installing Turbocharger Systems by Corky Bell.
Its a must for any prospecting people wanting to turbo their car. As far as making sure your motor doesn't blow up, its all about prepping the motor to be able to handle the increased pressure. Since your talking about running 10-12 PSI it would be wise to invest some money into your engine before getting turbo. Most street turbo kits will alow you to run on stock internals without much worries, its jsut when you start adding more pressure into the equation, that makes the motor pop. Just my .02 cents

yeah i plan on running a home made kit with a garrett t3 and stock internals, i was told by numerious people that 10-12 would be ok with stock internals but yes i should and need to put aside some money for saftey and for reapairs, so with that being known is that a safe idea?? thanks guys
