Serious Help needed....can you ghetto rig an oil feed line??
ok, my oil feed line has a pretty serious leak to it. It's a used greddy 18g kit for a b-series engine and a random braided oil feed line. well the oil feed line leaks at the banjo hardline fitting where the braided line meets with the hardline. I have it circled in yellow where it leaks.
It is literally leaking about a 1/4 quart of fluid every 10 seconds, that's how bad the leak is. I really need to be able to drive this car until I can get another oil feed line ordered....what can I do aside from riding the bus??

you can use barbed fittings and rubber hose with worm clamps till you can afford a good line

I did that with a heater hose back in 2003 when I didn't understand the concept of oil pressure (), and I have no idea how my motor lasted 8,000 miles before I switched to a proper -3 AN feed line.
However, I would suggest not doing it, for the sake of your motor/turbo. Talk to Stan @ Fast-Turbo about getting a replacement 18G oil feed line overnighted to you.

I think you'll have better luck with a temperary fix if you route the line from the back and not over the turbo.
The inlet thread is m10x1.5. I would take a trip to ace and get creative for the time being.
