Re: Oil feed leine Homedepot fittings!! (Sac)
go ahead and do this right the first time. Trust me, I did the same thing trying to save a couple of bucks but it really does end up costing more in the long run. just my .02 take it or leave it.

People like you contribute nothing to the forum with your smart-*** remarks. Any idiot knows to use a PVC pipe for the return line. duh.

Here is your help.
For your feed line you want around a -4 line, which is 1/4" not 1/8"
You will need a type of line that can withstand the heat of the oil as well as be designed to work with oil. Most of the braided lines at home depot are for water. Just fork out the extra bucks for REAL SS lines.
Are you sponsored by The Home Depot by any chance?

Re: Oil feed leine Homedepot fittings!! (b18bturbo)
I bought a 1/8th npt tee and a 1/8th npt nipple to screw into the block. teflon everything. When you screw the 1/8th npt nipple into the back of the block, it will be a tight fit, so just don't go nuts with the tightness. Again, 15k miles and i'm still going strong. I used a -3an feed line, along with a big brass return fitting. It's all about how skilled you are with being ghetto. There is ghetto-bad, and then ghetto-good... I just happen to be ghetto-good.
Good luck!
