same post as tech form: Anyone with a B&M fuel pressure gauge
i just installed a b and m fuel pressure guage. It hooks right up to the top of your fuel filter. Well after installing it, at WOT it was giving me a reading of only 10 psi and at idle about 4 psi. Does this sound right at all? i thought it should be more around 45 psi for an integra. As of now my car has a stage II rev hard with a votech fmu. Any ideas why this would be such a low reading? Thanks a head of time

Do you have an inline pump that is /after/ the fuel filter?
If so, that's why.

? wow that is really off. stock you would prob be at like 42-45 for your car. mine was 52 or so stock .
any leaks? . . . even if so it wont be that low. **** you got me maing .
maybe the fmu might have something to do with it . ?

** also, you know the two holes that are on the bolt that runs to the gauge, the one that goes inside of the banjo fitting, should one of the holes match up with the hole in the banjo fitting? **

the same thing happened when i added my inline pump.the accurate way to get a reading with the pump is to use a fuel pressure gauge which mounts TO the fuel rail directly (i.e. an AEM fuel rail and NOS fuel pressure gauge) also, why are you gonna lose the pump and FMU when you get hondata?

He's losing the pump and fmu because there is no longer need for either when you are controlling fuel via injector pulsewidth rather than rail pressure.

thats odd I have the same setup with inline after the filter and I read around 55-60psi at idle....... oh well I just take it as inaccurate eitherway.... working my way to getting a aem fuel rail and sticking it there instead for real readings.

Summit makes a fitting that splices into the fuel line from the pump to the rail that you can mount a gauge to...
