Default SAFC Tuning Problems

I have a 93 del sol with a d15b7. I am running a tubular header and t25 turbo. I put the dsm injectors in it with the resistors in line and have been using the safc hack for tuning. I just put a wideband O2 in the car and wanted to get the tune fixed. It is running very lean at higher rpms(about 14:1). When i try to lessen the correction precent for -30 to about -25%, the car starts throwing codes and won't run right. I can run it under 4k with the corrected % but as soon as i take it to red line, the check engine goes off and the car will not idle. Someone told me i needed to install a check valve in something but i'm not sure. I am running 8 lbs of boost. Can anyone help me figure out whats wrong? Thanks

yea, for soem reason it seems you injectors aren't flowing or maybe your fuel pump or fuel filter is bad.

Ever think of running uber or crome. Simplifies this.

But my bet is on bad fuel pump or filter. The reason you are throwing the code is because the afc acts like a check valve, since you take some much percent out of the map voltage it makes the ecu think it is actually in vacuum not boost, but the bigger injectors still give it the right fuel.

I put a brand new filter on it when i did the turbo set up. So when i change the full throtle values from -35 to -30, your saying this causes the computer of the car to read it differently? At the time the turbo was done, i used the safc b/c it seemed to work well on other cars and was the cheapest route. The car is just a daily driver car and i had the turbo left over from upgrading the one on my 2g gsx so i decided to fab up a header for it. Why would it be a bad fuel pump? Just seems like it needs to be tuned richer on the top end but tuning it sets off the check engine.

Right, but I wouldn't add a check valve on top of the mix. If you would want, the best way really is to switch to uber or crome and get it tuned.

Yeah but how much would it cost to switch?

And would switching over mean i would have to use different injectors and go back and remove the resistors?
