S300 boost control question
I've searched hondata and other sites but can't get a clear answer. In the smanager your able to activate low and high boost by activating the a/c. Does anybody have any experience with this? I know the hondata system can operate as a boost controller I'm just need to know if engaging the a/c will actually activate high boost, if your setup for it. Thanks

Re: S300 boost control question
When you use pin B5 in the ecu(AC), yes you will enable a high boost by pressing the AC button. Have a low boost setting, then hit the switch and go to your high boost setting. It does not need to be the actual AC switch, you can put a different one there if you want, as long as one end of it is wired to b5.

Re: S300 boost control question
Cool cool
I have the boost solenoid wired to my A11 (95 gsr) and from what your saying I don't need an additional wire if I want to utilize the a/c button on the dash. But if I wanted to use another button/switch I would have to splice it off the B5 wire, correct?

Re: S300 boost control question
That sounds correct. I use A5 for my nitrous control. I didnt realize i could have used the actual A/C switch to activate it tho. I wired my own switch.
I also have the high/low boost switch, but again used a differnt input and wired my own switch.
using the a/c switch is kinda a stealthy approach tho
I like youre clubs lol

Re: S300 boost control question
Smanager has a dropdown box and gives you like 5 to select from. I selected the same input for dual mapping and hi/low boost table so they both switch at the same time. I have mine wired up to my cutout so when cutout is closed I'm on low boost and conservative on fuel so I get good mpg and look stock with a stock muffler. When I open the cutout it changes fuel/ignition maps(secondary map) and ups the boost by gear(hi/low boost). I dd it and have used it like this for a year and so and it works flawlessly.

Thanks. It's there in the software might as well put it to use since it's a dd and 3" exhaust get's annoying.
